My experience with Daintree Air Services was seamless from the get-go.

Due to weather, my initial booking didn't proceed however the team kept me well informed and were extremely helpful in accommodating me the following day.
Our pilots, Justin and Cameron were both professional, personable and approachable. The smooth flight and information provided by the pilots allowed us to really take in the breathtaking views of the Great Barrier Reef and elevated the entire experience.

Once in a life time experience Heather and I throughly enjoyed the day at cape.
The other passengers were wonderful to travel with, flight was extremely enjoyable the banter between the junior pilot Frank and passengers was a memorable day.
Heather loved being the air hostess for the day, but I believe she needs a bit more training 🤣🤣 .
Frank(Greg) you are an excellent ambassador for Queensland, loved your work mate well done you please me and the others with an icecream, which we believe you were the one who wanted and icecream.

Big thanks to Daintree Air!

We did the scenic flight over the Great Barrier Reef this morning and it was insane! The views were so stunning, you could see so much of the reef! Definitely would book in again!

Everything felt super safe and smooth, the plane was comfy and clean. From booking, to arriving at the airport, to going on the plane, then lastly to going home the staff were all very accommodating and kind. They were really lovely and made the whole experience feel easy, safe, fun and relaxing.

Also love that they do airport transfers if you’re flying out the same day – so handy.

Thanks guys! 10/10 would do it again! 🙌✈️🌊

Amazing experience! From start to finish the team were lovely. Harvey was fantastic and knew so much about the reef, Cairns and the history. Frequently Asked Questions

Am I able to film and take photos from the plane?

Yes! We encourage all our passengers to take as many photos and videos as they need during flight and on the ground after flight.

Will I have a window seat?

Absolutely! All our aircraft ensure that passengers will be seated next to a window

Will you still fly if the weather forecast is bad?

No. If forecast conditions for your flight are such that passenger or aircraft safety come into question we will cancel or delay the flight. In the instance of such event we will contact you and advise that a postponement is required. We will try and arrange another day suitable for you, and if that is not possible, you will be fully refunded.

If I'm pregnant is it okay for me to fly?

Yes, we can take pregnant women on our flights. However, if you feel concerned at all please obtain a medical consult before your booking.

Are babies and toddlers allowed on flights?

Of course! Babies and toddlers under 2 that do not occupy their own seat can fly for free.

Do you provide a shuttle bus service?

Our Reef flight prices are $40.00 to $120.00 cheaper per person than our competitors.

This gives you the FLEXABILLITY TO CHOOSE WHERE YOU WANT TO GO AFTER THE FLIGHT FROM THE AIRPORT.

Why pay an extra $40.00 to $120.00 on your flight ticket to go back to the City when you need to go to the beaches after your flight.

Our Terminal at Cairns AirPort Aeroglen is approximately a 5 to 10 minute ride from the City.

Our team is happy to help with directions or transport suggestions when you book.

The cost of a Transfer with Uber or Taxi is usually between $7.00 and $12.00.

For Self Drivers Daintree Air Services is located at Tom McDonald Drive Cairns Airport Aeroglen.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the flight are non-refundable, and the full fare will be forfeited.

Is there any weight limit for passengers?

Yes. The maximum weight per passenger is 115kg.
